Addressable Fire Alarm System
An addressable fire alarm system is one in which all fire and smoke detection devices in a system are connected and communicate both with each other and a central control monitoring location. This interconnectivity allows the control personnel to identify the location or “address” where the initial detection occurred. The information directs the emergency response team to pinpoint their efforts immediately to the precise location of the developing problem.
How Does an Addressable Fire Alarm System Work?
- Reliability of Addressable Fire Alarms Systems
- Testing and Monitoring Each Device
ADVANTAGES OF Addressable FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS
Quickly determine the location of a fire.
Specific actions can be programmed by the user.
Reduced likelihood and better handling of false alarms.
More reliability, less likely to lose connection.
Lower overall cost of wiring.
DISADVANTAGES OF Addressable FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS:
- Cost, not as competitively priced for smaller applications.
- Typically with an intelligent panel, your peripheral devices (i.e. smoke detectors, etc…) tend to be more expensive than conventional devices.
- This panel is computer like and at times there maybe issues caused by the firmware (panel software). However, this is not common and the advantages of intelligent panel far outweigh any of these firmware issues.
Automatic Fire Detection & Suppression System
f you only have total flood suppression system you need to consider a secondary system that can isolate a fire and possibly save you valuable downtime and repair to your assets. By addressing the danger at micro level before your larger system kicks in you are still protecting your assets, personnel and mechanical but more efficiently in relation to your total operation. We can provide a self-activating suppression system that reliably suppression fires in seconds. We can design a low maintenance, cost-effective solution to the problem of “micro-environment” fire protection. This system uses Polymer Tubing that will rupture when exposed to a flame. This specialized detection tubing combines leak resistance, flexibility, durability and precise temperature sensitivity, allowing to react quickly when the heat from a fire is present.
Direct Release – Low Pressure Systems
The Diret Low Pressure(DLP) system utilizes the Fire Finder Detection Tubing as both the fire detection device and the fire suppressant delivery system. The Portation of the tube nearest the hottest point of the fire ruptures forming an effective discharge “nozzle”. The pressure drop in the tube releases the entire contents of the cylinder through this nozzle.
Co2 Flooding Rooms
Conventional Fire Alarm System
A conventional system employs one or more initiating circuits, connected to sensors (initiating devices) wired in parallel. These sensors are devised to decrease the circuits resistance when the environmental influence on any sensor exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Conventional fire alarms include:
- Small Schools
- Stores
- Restaurants
- Apartments
ADVANTAGES OF CONVENTIONAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS
Cost effective for small applications.
DISADVANTAGES OF CONVENTIONAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS:
- Cost, not competitively priced for larger systems.
- Detection of smoke or a fire is done by zone, which could be multiple areas rather than specifying a specific location. This could delay emergency responders from locating the fire.
- Conventional panels are often called “dumb” panels because of the inability to provide detail information, such as… Device locations.
Elecrical Panels Fire Suppression Systems
Unattended small short circuits are the main cause of most and major Fires. Fire in Server Racks or Electrical Panels are generally caused by a short circuits or small sparks but as they are not attended, they lead to serious hazards to life and property leading to personnel injuries, property damage further resulting in loss of productivity, money and precious time.
The following are the features of Tube Based System:
- Simple self-activating system without human intervention
- Linear Heat Detection – senses fire anywhere along the entire length of the fire detection Tube
- Extinguishes fire at an early stage
- System activates automatically
- Safe against malfunction
- More reliable, as system does not rely on complex electronics or moving parts
- System does not need external power supply for detection and extinguishing of fire
- Simple construction leads to easy maintenance
Engineered Fire Detection, Protection & Suppression System
Fire Suppression Systems are required by businesses in the data processing, communications, aviation, medical and art industries, as well as many others. AV Safety Solutions specializes in Semiconductor Facilities, Cleanrooms & Wet Bench fire protection systems, as well as all other industrial fire safety applications. Let FET help you prevent the loss of costly equipment, irreplaceable data and information as well as business interruption. FET Protection is experienced in the installation and servicing of these complicated systems provided by top-rated fire protection systems vendors. We specialize in design and installation of CO2 fire suppression systems for the semiconductor industry. We offer innovative solutions for your complex commercial fire hazards, using tested and proven design concepts. Our engineers have extensive project experience and the ability to effectively utilize and interact with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural engineers to offer the best resolutions to any unique design challenge.
Engineered Fire Suppression System
An engineered fire suppression system works by flooding an entire room with clean agent. Clean agents are gases that suppress fires without harming humans or equipment. A commercial or industrial facility with critical electronic systems that would be severely damaged by a sprinkler system using water is a perfect fit for a clean agent engineered system.
Fm200 Fire Suppression System
FM-200 Suppression Systems
Historically, the most widely used Halon 1301 replacement, FM-200™ provides waterless fire suppression without leaving behind residue or particulate, and has been installed in a lot of application in India by AV Safety Solutions.
- Safe for human occupancy.
- Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP)
- Discharges in 10 seconds or less to extinguish fires rapidly, minimizing damage to high value assets.
- Appears on US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) list
- Designed in accordance with NFPA 2001.
- UL listed and FM approved.
High Pressure Systems

High Pressure Systems
This line of fire finder products, available in both direct and indirect systems, allpws for delivery of high pressure suppressants such as carbon dioxide, argon or similar agents.

With the Inhipressure Low Pressure (ILP) system, the Fire Finder Detection tubing is used only as a detection device. The Fire suppression agent is delivred via coppetubing, stainless steel tubing or braided hose. On the tube “bursts”, the suppressant is discharged through strategically placed nozzles within the protected enclosure.
Inert Gas Systems
During our everyday life we normally breathe inert gases and one of their blends, that we use to call simply Inert Gas Systems. Nitrogen and Argon are the main elements that we inhale and exhale continuously.
AV Safety Solutions is always careful about environmental impact of its products and was among the first companies to introduce fire-fighting inert gas systems. Inert gas systems can be based on the following agents:
IG01 – Argon
IG100 – Nitrogen
IG55 – Nitrogen + Argon
IG541 – Nitrogen + Argon + CO2
The advantages
- No environmental impact
- Low cost extinguishing agent
- No fog after discharge
- EN 12094 certified components, compliance CE 0068
- In-progress procedure for certification of systems with internationally recognized certification bodies.
Server Rack Fire Suppression System
Rack mount fire protection solutions are designed for installation into server racks and server cabinets to provide fast and effective fire detection and suppression and reduce the threat of fire to business continuity. When sizing a rack mounted fire suppression unit it is important to measure the physical space to be protected and ensure that the right size unit is selected and installed either as a single or multiple units.
Server Rack Fire Suppression System
Inert gas is a type of fire suppressant that safely extinguishes IT-related fires, while being safe for humans in the area and the environment. It is commonly used to protect smaller server rooms, particularly those where people are frequently. Data center fire suppression refers to various systems and solutions designed to stop a fire from spreading in a data center. You can typically find fire suppression systems aimed at different sections of a data center, such as those for the entire building, individual rooms and racks.
